New range of 'Solar' products
Rayleigh Instruments is pleased to announce the introduction of its range of 'Solar' products.
Starting with the low cost, G83, Single Phase Grid Tied, String Inverters. Our high efficiency, high reliability, transformer-less, G83 inverters are available in 1.5, 2, 3 & 4KW models. An ideal solution for roof-top PV installations, these compact IP65 inverters come with a 5 year replacement warranty as standard. Other ranges for small & medium commercial installations are also available.
Installation time of PV systems can now be reduced by using Rayleigh Instrument's pre-wired and tested "Generator Box". No need to separately install and wire metering and protection devices, the Consumer Box comes complete with energy (kWh) meter, MCB; RCD and AC isolator switch, wired and fully tested at our Essex manufacturing site, all enclosed in a robust, steel box.

Important Announcement - Pricing Review 2012
Dear Customer
As you are no doubt aware, the costs of raw material, labour and distribution have risen sharply over the last year.
To date, we have absorbed these additional costs. However, they have now reached a level at which we have no option other than to pass on a proportion of these to our customers.
Therefore, this will mean that from the 1st January 2012 we must raise prices by 2.5% for all products.
Orders received before the end of December 2011 for delivery before the end of January 2012 will be accepted at today’s prices.
We know that price increases are never welcome, but trust that you will understand the necessity of this action.

MIDAs Evo - Multi-Instrument Data Acquisition Software (SCADA)
Rayleigh Instruments, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of energy monitoring instrumentation in the UK, is promoting its Multi-Instrument Data Acquisition Software (MIDAs Evo) for electrical network monitoring.
Designed specifically to interface with the popular IME energy and multifunction (NEMO and Conto) instruments, the software provides a cost effective solution to centralised monitoring and management of electrical energy consumption along with water and gas.
The software allows the user four distinct advantages:-
MIDAS Evo displays a virtual image of each instrument on the network and with a simple click on a single device, it is possible to control all measured parameters.
MIDAS instantaneously displays all parameters measured by a variety of energy, multi-function and pulse concentrators. Creation of graphs is possible for one or more measured magnitudes, either in real-time or drawn from the stored data, enabling the identification of trends. All stored data can be printed or exported in Excel compatible tables.
Enabled (via password) users can set a series of software threshold alarms on measured parameters which are permanently stored in the data-base for immediate addressing or historical analysis.
As data is stored without tariff indication, MIDAS Evo offers the possibility to analyse energy consumption, by providing the user the ability to input and compare results of up to three different tariffs. Tariff profiles can also be used to ascertain energy costs for partial or total consumption on a per meter or multiple combination basis.
The web server function grants remote access to the centrally installed MIDAS using a simple internet browser.
All in all, an extremely cost effective and efficient way of monitoring your network.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - Price Review 2010 / 2011
Dear Customer
We are writing to notify you that our raw material costs have now risen to a level which makes a price review unavoidable. This is our first price change since January 2009 and, although this news is never welcome, we trust you will understand the necessity of this action.
Therefore, from 1st November 2010 our prices will increase by 2%. Any orders placed between now and 1st November 2010 will be honoured at the current prices.
I would like to add, that we have decided not to raise prices of the products listed below.
