Awax 26XXL - Emergency Stop Relay / Safety Relay

The Awax 26XXL Emergency Stop Safety Relay complies fully with EN60204-1 and EN954-1, and is designed to ensure that under emergency fault conditions or when a guard door is opened the electrical supply to a machine is swiftly and reliably disconnected. The safety relay employs failsafe redundant electronic circuitry for self checking and short-circuit/link monitoring functions, and a feedback loop for monitoring of external contactors. The relay has been designed specifically for use with coded magnetic safety switches incorporating semi-conductor outputs (see Coded Magnetic Safety Switches - Anatom 6S/78S/98S/M18, Epinus, Trithon and Optopus), where multiple switches may be connected to a single relay.

The relay has 3 n/o 1 n/c contacts with switch selection of auto or monitored manual reset. It also employs an electronic fuse for supply protection, allowing much faster reaction time and providing extra protection of internal circuitry and connected switches.
